Join us for the seventh edition of the European Lighting Forum! This is a space where members of the lighting industry are invited to share their views and experiences, and to collaborate on delivering better lighting in Europe.
During this webinar, our speakers will explore the topic of LightingEurope’s Technical Memorandum on the specific rules for the life cycle assessment of light sources for general lighting. In response to the growing market demand for reliable sustainability information on lighting products, LightingEurope has developed a new neutral Technical Memorandum defining functional unit, declared unit, reference flow description, system boundaries, default scenarios and extrapolation rules to aid the creation of EPDs for light sources for general lighting.
Don't miss this opportunity to engage in a discussion that will explore the Product Specific Rules, LCAs and EPDs for light sources, as proposed by LightingEurope, and identify solutions that can empower customers to make informed purchasing decisions while reducing the environmental footprint of municipalities, businesses and individuals.
Speakers:
Dee Denteneer – Chair of LightingEurope Task Force Product Specific Rules
Henrike Streppel – Technical Editor of the Technical Memorandum for specific rules for light sources
Location: Online – A link will be shared with all registered participants after the registration period. Agenda details will follow soon.
