MetroSpec Technology Announces Breakthrough for LED Edge Lighting

MetroSpec Technology®, proud manufacturer of FlexRad® LED light sources and assemblies, announces its new LuxEdge® Max and LuxEdge® Halo product lines. Both are designed for outstanding uniformity and dimming control. Both are engineered for maximum power and efficiency. Both have unique features to capture, and precisely align the LED to a light guide optic. LuxEdge Max enables high performing designs for linear edge lit fixtures. LuxEdge Halo is a powerful solution for circular or curved edge lit fixtures.

LuxEdge Halo is an absolute breakthrough in simplifying and cost reducing round fixtures. Incorporated in the circular band of LED light are inter-connecting springs that tension the light source to tightly fit the light guide. LuxEdge Halo eliminates all of the mechanical components holding the light source in relationship to a round light guide. And, for many applications it eliminates the need for heat sinks. Assembly takes a few seconds in the factory, saving hours of labor. The result is a fully illuminated puck with two wires extended for power, ready to drop into a holder. There is nothing like it.
