Luminit has developed a proprietary scatter model for users of Zemax. Unlike conventional optical design programs that provide bulk scatter and surface scatter models that “predict” output distribution, Luminit’s proprietary optical model accurately calculates surface effects so users can choose the Light Shaping Diffuser (LSD) angle that offers the most optimized performance.
