Cree LED L2 Solutions Streamline LED Sourcing

Cree LED’s Level 2 (L2) Solutions feature a range of fully assembled LED printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) designed to accelerate lighting product development and simplify supply chains for indoor and outdoor applications.

The L2 portfolio enables lighting manufacturers to source both LEDs and fully populated LED boards from a single global supplier, reducing sourcing complexity while providing ready-to-integrate solutions for a range of lighting designs.

Building on decades of LED reliability expertise, Cree LED combines design capabilities, IP-backed technology and global manufacturing scale to deliver consistent quality, supply stability and long-term support. The approach is designed to help lighting manufacturers respond to growing demand for integrated LED platforms while reducing the time and resources required to develop LED-based products.

Indoor Linear PCBAs
Cree LED’s indoor linear portfolio includes: two board designs and five LED-count configurations, based on J Series® 2835 LEDs. The assemblies are available in four correlated color temperatures (CCTs): 5000K, 4000K, 3500K and 3000K, with both 80 and 90 CRI options.

Outdoor Array PCBAs
For outdoor applications, Cree LED offers five board designs with four LED-count configurations, using J Series® 5050 LEDs. Available CCTs include 5000K, 4000K, 3000K and 2700K, with 70 CRI.

Standard L2 PCBAs are stocked through Cree LED’s established distribution network, making the assemblies readily accessible to lighting manufacturers.

By combining LED components and populated PCB assemblies within one portfolio, Cree LED’s L2 Solutions are designed to give manufacturers a more streamlined path from LED selection to finished lighting product development.
